Epoxy Flooring

Seamless, durable epoxy flooring for basements, commercial and retail spaces across the GTA, built on properly repaired concrete.

Epoxy flooring turns a concrete slab into a sealed, seamless surface that takes traffic, spills and cleaning without complaint. No grout lines, no joints, no place for dirt to hide.

TCR Pro installs epoxy flooring across Toronto and the GTA for basements, commercial units, retail spaces and industrial floors. For garages specifically, our garage floor epoxy page covers that world in detail; this page is about everywhere else epoxy earns its keep.

Epoxy basement floors

Basements are where epoxy makes the most sense in a house. An epoxy basement floor is warmer underfoot than ceramic tile, brighter than bare concrete and completely seamless, so cleaning is a mop and a minute.

Below-grade slabs carry moisture, and flooring that traps it fails. We test the slab, repair cracks and prepare the surface so the system is matched to real conditions, not installed over wishful thinking. The result is a finished basement floor that does not mind being in a basement.

Commercial and retail epoxy flooring

For businesses, epoxy flooring is a practical decision. The surface resists chemicals, abrasion and heavy traffic, cleans fast and keeps its look in front of customers. Optional coving at the walls removes the hard edge where grime collects, a detail that matters wherever hygiene is inspected.

We schedule commercial installations around your operating hours and phase larger floors so the business keeps running. Warehouses, showrooms, retail units and food environments each get a system specified for their actual use.

Systems and finishes

  • Solid colour epoxy. Clean, uniform and easy to specify for work environments.
  • Torginol flake systems. Decorative flake broadcast with texture and depth, in a wide range of blends.
  • Quartz systems. Extra durability and slip resistance for hard-working floors.
  • Metallic and decorative finishes. Showpiece floors for retail and living spaces.
  • Performance topcoats. Urethane and polyaspartic wear layers where traffic and UV demand them.

Preparation is the whole game

Every epoxy failure you have seen, peeling, bubbling, tire marks lifting the coating, traces back to preparation. We repair the concrete first, diamond grind the surface, test for moisture and install to manufacturer specifications.

That is the repair-first habit of a company that has fixed concrete since 1998, applied to coatings. It is slower than rolling paint over dust. It is also why the floor lasts.

Epoxy compared to other floors

Against tile, epoxy wins on the joints: there are none. No grout lines to scrub or discolour, no cracked tiles to swap, and a surface that is noticeably warmer underfoot. In many cases it can even be installed over the existing tile after preparation.

Against carpet and laminate in basements, epoxy simply survives conditions that ruin them. Moisture that would curl laminate or feed mould in carpet does nothing to a properly installed coating.

Against bare concrete, epoxy is the difference between a slab and a floor: sealed against stains, free of dust and finished to a standard you choose.
