Commercial Kitchen Floor Repair & Coating

Greasy floor? No problem. We repair and coat commercial kitchen floors overnight: non-slip, easy to clean, minimal downtime.

A commercial kitchen floor lives in grease, heat, steam and constant washing. Bare or failing concrete absorbs all of it: cracks collect grime, pits hold water, and the floor becomes the hardest thing in the kitchen to keep clean and the easiest thing to slip on.

TCR Pro repairs and coats commercial kitchen floors across Toronto and the GTA, overnight and on weekends, so your kitchen never misses a service. Greasy floor? No problem.

Greasy floors are a preparation problem

Grease is why most kitchen floor coatings fail. Coating over a saturated slab guarantees delamination, no matter what product goes down.

We treat it as a preparation problem and solve it mechanically: the floor is degreased, ground and profiled until we reach clean, sound concrete. Cracks, pits and eroded areas are repaired at the same time, so the coating bonds to a solid, uniform surface.

Non-slip where it counts

Kitchen floors need traction, but not the same traction everywhere. Fry lines, dish pits and wet prep zones get aggressive non-slip texture; walkways and service areas get a finish that balances grip with fast mopping.

Zoning the texture this way is a small detail that staff feel every shift. It cuts slip risk where grease and water concentrate without turning the whole floor into a scrub brush.

Built for cleaning and inspections

The finished floor is seamless: no grout lines, no cracks, no joints for grime and bacteria to colonize. Washdowns get faster and actually reach everything.

Optional coving carries the coating up the wall base, eliminating the sharp corner where buildup hides. For food environments where hygiene is inspected, a floor that can be truly cleaned is an asset every single visit.

Overnight and weekend installs

Downtime is revenue, so commercial kitchen flooring work happens when you are closed. Typical projects run overnight or across a weekend, using fast-cure systems selected so the floor is back in service for the next shift.

Larger kitchens are phased section by section. Either way, the schedule is agreed up front, and reopening on time is treated as part of the specification, not a stretch goal.

Repair-first, like everything we do

TCR Pro has repaired concrete since 1998, and kitchens get the same doctrine: fix the slab, then coat it. Cracked and pitted kitchen floors are repaired as part of the project, not buried under product. This page is the kitchen-specific arm of our commercial concrete services, which cover warehouses, loading docks and everything else on the property.

Not just restaurants

The same floor problems, and the same solution, apply across food operations: restaurant kitchens, cafeterias, bakeries, catering facilities and food prep areas all combine grease, water, heat and constant cleaning.

Wherever staff work over a wet, greasy floor and inspectors expect a cleanable surface, the recipe holds: repair the concrete, grind to clean substrate, coat seamlessly with zoned non-slip texture, and do it while the operation is closed.

If your facility has an unusual schedule or a floor another contractor gave up on, that is usually where we start.
